Writers vs Writers

Holy fisticuffs, Batman…want to see what’s really wrong with publishing today? Then get thee to Chuck Wendig’s blog and read the comments section on this post and then this. And don’t get me started on Kboards. Be forewarned, though. There’s plenty of durm und strang, whether you work with a publisher or DIY.

All in all, pretty darned good theater–but so, so sad. Writers attacking writers ain’t pretty and ultimately damages us all.

Can we please just be done with this shit? Move on, people.

Holy crap. There are a lot of assumptions flying around in the comments. And most of them mirror the old stigmas and attitudes. It’s time to get the stories straight and to the business of creating good books. I’m not even going to go there to comment as it only fuels the polarization of opinions further.
